Join us for a women-led chainsaw safety training in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin on Saturday September 9th and Sunday September 10th at Northland College in Ashland! This workshop will empower women to be comfortable with running a saw and saw knowledge.

The principal focus will be on safety; safe posture, safe practices, safe clothing, and safe habits. Sessions will include: personal protective equipment review, other safety equipment, buying and maintaining a saw, demonstrations of safe felling techniques, hands-on opportunity for supervised, safe practice, assessing the safety of the cuts, answers to your chainsaw questions!

Food is provided for both days. Lodging is not provided, but a list of local lodging can be provided upon request. If you are interested in sharing a room to save on costs, please email Lauren Larsen ([email protected]) after registering and we will send a group email to those interested!
