Why: This walk will focus on meeting new people and learning together.

Who: Anyone interested in walking in the woods and oak savanna of this lovely park. The Minnesota Women's Woodland Network provides the opportunity to recognize and enhance the role of women in woodland management, whether they own land themselves, may inherit or purchase land in the future, or who may simply be interested in supporting this effort.

Things to know: The walk into the park is steep and uneven, sturdy shoes are recommended. This park can be handicap accessible via an available tracked wheelchair, contact Angie Gupta, [email protected] for information. Angie Gupta, walk leader, is a University of Minnesota Extension forester who lives in Rochester and founding MNWWN leader.
