Non-Timber Forest Product Property Inventory

Property Inventory Group

Non-timber forest products can be a fun way to interact with your woodland in between forest harvests, or as an alternative management objective.

If you are interested in producing non-timber forest products, the best place to start is by taking an inventory of your property and skills.

What are you good at? What resources do you already have? Equipment? Tree Species? Edible species? Medicinal species? Greenery species? Let this guide your decisions. The more of your current resources you can tap into, the less financial investment you will have to make. And the more you enjoy or are good at doing something, the more likely you are to succeed at it.
