iNaturalist is a great app and an online naturalist community, available for free at your smartphone store. iNaturalist allows you to quickly record your observation of anything that's ever lived (plants, animals, insects, cones, tracks, etc).
Have you ever noticed a beautify wooden piece at the antique store or craft fair and wondered, "What kind of wood it this that?" I'm the lady that regularly walks into a house and checks out the floors to see if they’re oak, maple or hickory. I love wood and I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure-out what types of wood are in the world around me.

This women-only workshop will be held at private property with 142 acres of land in Hardwick NJ and begins at 8 am. Topics will address forest health, best management practices, financial benefits of protecting the forest, including forestry stewardship plans and stewardship assistance programs.
